FLEX PRIME - SELF HEALING EPU, WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM, 1.80X1.22M WIDTH

FLEX PRIME - SELF HEALING EPU, WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM, 1.80X1.22M WIDTH, is a stone-chip resistant film made from a new generation of high-clarity EPU (elastomeric polyurethane) materials, superior to TPU or PET films. The film surface is coated with a special anti-dirt coating, with micro-scratch self-healing at 23 - 26°C, super hydrophobic, oleophobic and allowing the wipers to glide easily. To the touch, the outer surface of the film is similar to the screen surface of top smartphones. 

The film does not require thermoforming during application. Depending on the environment in which the vehicle is used, the approximate durability is 12 months from the date of installation, with the maintenance recommended by the manufacturer. This film is produced in South Korea by INTERCONIX Co. Ltd, certified ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Warranty coverage begins on the date of FLEX PRIME EPU™ installation and extends for the period of ownership by the original registered owner of the vehicle. This warranty is not transferable and ends upon sale of the vehicle to another owner.

THE WARRANTY COVERS:

- adhesive separation from the film

- delamination of the component layers (not cracking of the coating)

- yellowing

If the product is considered defective under this warranty, the seller will replace the quantity of film proven to be defective, but not the replacement labor.

The film does not require thermoforming during application. We recommend checking the windshield for optical defects before applying the film. The film amplifies these optical distortions / waves, but the cause is not the film, rather these “waves” from the casting and bending of the glass. Some windshields may have these defects, others may not. An example of optical distortions here:

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:

The warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of the windshield in case of breakage, haze, scratches or stains appearing on the surface of the film during its entire period of use, or any optical distortions, and does not cover any damages or fines received due to the legislation of the respective country.

The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to extreme mechanical or chemical abuse, such as bird droppings or other acidic solutions, improper care or maintenance, uncontrollable circumstances such as storms, hail, tornadoes, etc.; the seller is not responsible for any resulting losses, damages or expenses.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

To maximize the lifespan of the FLEX PRIME EPU™ windshield film, follow these instructions for proper care and maintenance:

- clean the film whenever necessary with cleaning solutions that do NOT contain alcohol, ammonia, corrosive substances and solvents, chemicals and caustic materials, including solvent-based cleaning agents such as isopropyl alcohol or other acidic or corrosive materials.

- for cleaning, use clean and non-abrasive materials

- do not remove snow and ice from the windshield using scrapers or other special tools for this purpose; we recommend removing ice by heating the windshield

- clean stains and marks from insects, bird droppings and other difficult-to-clean stains as soon as possible, especially during summer.

- do not use the wipers on a dry windshield

- replace worn wipers in time

- do not use windshield washer fluid based on alcohol, ammonia or chemical solvents

- use windshield washer fluid containing regular detergent
